Original watercolour paintings by louise man reproduced as fabrics

My range of floral tea towels, cushions and fabrics all started out life as watercolour paintings. I love the transparency of watercolours and they look fabulous on different fabrics. The robin tea towels started life originally as two watercolour robin paintings that were then reproduced as prints, and then onto tea towels and decorations.

The range of botanic design tea towels come from a fantastic monoprint workshop I did where beautiful layers are created using the monoprint technique.

One large luxury tea towel printed on 100% cotton and hand made in the UK.

Mr Robin is the most popular of my designs, always flying off (sorry) at craft fairs and Christmas markets.

We love robins. According to the RSPB, the robin is the UK’s most favourite bird. They sing all year round and despite their cute appearance they are aggressively territorial and quick to drive away intruders. But we still like them.

Some of us also believe that a visit from a robin is a sign that a lost relative is visiting and the robin can also symbolise new beginnings and good luck.

The Robin Tea Towel is machine washable at 40 degrees.

The tea towels are approximately 44cm x 72cm (17.7 inches x 25.5 inches).
