The oystercatcher is a large, stocky, black and white wading bird. It has long, orange-red bill and reddish-pink legs.

Oystercatchers breed on almost all UK coasts and eat mussels and cockles.

I love the bluey-black colours of their feathers, which is a joy to paint in watercolours.

The cards are blank inside so you can write your own message. They are C5 size (10.5cm x 14.5cm) and slightly textured, with a watercolour-paper feel, and come with a Kraft eco brown envelope in a cellophane sleeve.
